Our Story
It all started in Linda's back garden, growing and selling wildflowers in her tiny greenhouse. Look where we are now, a 7 acre nursery run by a close-knit group of employees, passionate about restoring our native flora.
Meet the Family
Our small team consists of 3 generations from the Family!
Owner
Linda Laxton
Linda has a degree in Environmental Science, specialising in Plant Science and Ecology. With 64 years of growing and studying wildflowers under her belt, she is the expert at BWFP. Linda also spent years surveying for Plant Atlas.
Operations Manager
Vicky Linden
Vicky has been working here since 1996, before we moved to our bigger site. She has an Hnc in Horticulture, and strives to provide excellent customer service. Vicky's main role is communicating with customers one on one, and ensuring their orders are handled to perfection.
Production Manager
Tyler Linden
Tyler has only been working here since 2021, but already has a passion for growing and maintaining the plants on our nursery. She also helps out with other duties, such as liaising with customers, packing orders, and managing stock control.
She aspires to gain a degree in Garden Design.
